12+ years of attentive photojournalism work has brought me into a wonderful career in wedding photography. If you’re looking for a wedding photographer to just show up, take some posed portraits, and not cry at something sweet your grandmother does - I’m not your photographer. Capturing how your wedding day FELT is my biggest joy, and most of that happens in the in-betweens, the downtime, the moments when the weight of the day sinks in. Twenty years from now I want you to be able to sit on your couch and look back through your images, laughing as you’re reminded of your crazy best friend on the dance floor, or that one quiet moment reading a note from your lover before you see each other. The little glances, the nervous laughs, deep breaths, and toasts from people you love - I’m there for all of it. Weddings are so much more than just an event, especially now when the tangibility of gatherings holds a little more weight. Weddings are an opportunity to celebrate, to dive into what it truly means to be TOGETHER. All of the people you love from near and far - in one place or on a screen - to celebrate the two of you. All of the images below are from REAL weddings, not styled sessions with professional models. I’ve photographed in churches, back yards, next to waterfalls, in fellowship halls, mountainsides, on boats and piers, and simple ceremonies beside a court house. Anywhere and everywhere, I’ll be there with you! I fully believe with all of my being that a backyard ceremony is just as important as a dreamy mountain elopement - and I’ll make sure you feel every bit of that magic, no matter where you get married.
